Identification of the author’s opinions / identification of the information contained in the passage

You will be asked if a set of statements agree with the information in the passage or the author’s opinions. You will have to select between three options mentioned as yes/no/not mention or true/false/not mention. A key thing to keep in mind is that whatever is given in the passage or by the author is what counts for the answers. Your own information or beliefs should not manipulate your answer.

You will need to find specific details or information in the sections of the text. It can be an example to locate, a summary or even a definition.

Here you will need to recognize the main ideas or themes of the text.

Matching Features:

This type of question tests your ability to recognize opinions, theories, and connections between facts in the text.

Matching Phrases:

You will necessitate completing a phase within a predetermined world limit. The words must come from the text. These are obviously not MCQs.

Completion of flowcharts, summaries and tables:

Once again, you are tested on your ability to pay attention to detail provided and your ability to recognize the main ideas of the text.

Diagram-Label Completion:

There will be a description in the text. You will need to label the given patterns.

Short answer questions:

There will be a given limit on the number of words your answer can contain. The questions are related to the given text and you will have to answer them.
