Online jobs have always been a trending topic on the internet. With the increasing number of people who are dependent on the internet for their livelihood, it is not surprising that online jobs are growing by leaps and bounds.

In 2015, the number of remote workers has increased by 33% from the previous year. And with the rise in the number of online jobs, it has also become necessary to have a resource to guide you through this trend.

  1. Eliminate Need Of Commutes

The average American spends over 50 minutes each day getting to and from work. This time is not spent relaxing or doing anything productive. It simply adds to the stress of the day. But with a remote job, there’s no need to commute. You can: Work remotely, Work from home, Work from a coffee shop, or Work from anywhere in the world as long as you have an internet connection. The major problem for many employees is the long commute to and from work. Even if you live in an urban area, you may be sitting in traffic for hours each day. Employee productivity is becoming a real problem in the corporate world. A recent survey by OfficeTeam, a staffing service and research firm, found that 54 percent of office workers say they are less productive when working in an office environment.

This is because working remotely allows employees to become more independent, self-motivated, and comfortable with their work style. However, not all employees are self-starters and need some supervision to get their job done. That’s where remote jobs come into play. A remote job allows managers to stay involved and hands-on with their workers without having too physical. Most people are not in favor of remote jobs, they think that the work done by remote employees is not satisfactory. But, it’s completely wrong, because remote work increases your productivity.

Employees working from home reduce the number of unnecessary meetings and emails, as well as eliminate wasted time commuting to and from the office. These employees are more productive than those working in an office.

Companies are turning to remote jobs to help reduce staff attrition. According to a study by FlexJobs, the number of companies with open full-time telecommuting jobs has grown by 115%. It is also projected that the number of people working from home via technology will continue to rise sharply.

The main reason for this is that businesses are seeing benefits in using virtual workers. The main benefit is that it helps reduce staff attrition. Employees are leaving their jobs in record numbers. In 2016, 26% of employees quit their job within the first 6 months, and 50% left within 2 years. This is the highest that employee turnover has been in over 15 years. This number is up from about 20% a decade ago, and it costs companies $34,000 for every position that they can’t fill. Remote jobs help to reduce this staff attrition because communication tends to still exist between teams even when there is no physical office space.
