I’ll show you how to make a seamless background in CorelDraw in this tutorial. The most significant thing you’ll learn is how to use SNAP tools to create more exact vector forms, as well as how to create and deal with Patterns.
Creating a Pattern element in Corel Draw
To begin, create a new document and save it as “Background.cdr” Now we’ll draw our own backdrop element, so use the rectangle tool to draw a square (F6). Hold down the CTRL key, then drag the left mouse button to draw a square. Open the Size transformation panel (Arrange -> Transformations -> Size) or the ALT + F10 shortcut. For precision, set Width and Length to 1 unit. In the property bar, rotate a square 45 degrees.
Now create a curving line that looks like mine. Learn from Best Corel Draw classes in Ahmedabad or where ever you live. Draw a line with the 2-points line tool, then right-click on the line with the Shape tool (F10) and select “To curve.” This transforms a straight line into a curve. Grab one of the Curve Handles and move it to a curved line. Check that Snap to object is enabled (Tools -> settings -> Snap to objects or ALT+Z). Grab the curve from its node and drag it to the middle of the rotated square if Snap to objects is enabled. When you drag near the center of the square, you will see it snapping.
Now follow steps
Select curve and then open the Properties panel (Windows -> Dockers -> Properties or Alt + Enter). Set the width to 2 units in the Outline settings. A new window emerges when you choose advanced options. Set up in calligraphy mode Click OK after stretching to 1% and angling to 92 degrees. The curving caligraphy line has now been converted to an object (Arrange -> Convert outline to object or CTRL + SHIFT + Q).
Open the Rotate Transformation panel (Windows -> dockers -> Transformations -> Rotate or Alt + F8) and pick the curve. Set the angle to 12 degrees, choose the bottom left pivot point, copy 12, and click apply. Now duplicate the rotated square (edit -> duplicate or CTRL + D) and resize it by moving the transformation point while holding SHIFT. The Duplicate offset dialogue box occurs when you duplicate objects for the first time in Corel DRAW.
Type numbers in the Horizontal offset and Vertical offset boxes to indicate the distance between the duplicate and the original object along the x- and y-axes. At any moment, you can adjust the default offset for duplicates. To do so, go to (Tools -> Options -> Document -> General)v and fill in the Horizontal and Vertical offset boxes with values. Now Duplicate that square once more and construct a beautiful angle like I did. Then copy, rotate, and drag to the corners from node to node. Snapping assists with precision. We do, however, have an Element.
Creating and Using a Pattern
We’ll now create a pattern that we may use for backdrops or to fill in other shapes. Now, group all of the element’s shapes (Arrange -> group or CTRL + G), duplicate them, and drag them from node to node as previously.
The final step is to make a pattern. Go to Tools -> Create -> Pattern Fill to do so. Select two color types and a high-resolution image. Then, with the marque tool selected, hold the CTRL key to generate a square selection, then push and drag to choose the pattern zone. Many institute teach Corel Draw like Corel Draw training in Vadodara and guidelines (drag from the right and top rulers) to accurately choose that zone, then move the pointer to the junction (guideline turn to yellow then you are on it). That’s it; we’ve made a pattern that we can use.
We may now use this pattern as a background or to fill any shape. So try it. Make a few custom shapes and pick one. Select 2-color type pattern fill from the toolbox. A new window pops up. Click OK after selecting the newly generated Pattern. The Pattern will fill the shape. Select the Interactive fill tool (G), then click on the shape to bring up Pattern Gizmo. This device has the ability to modify the pattern. It has three points: move, skew, and rotate. The design will vary as you drag it.
